Two massive trenches cut into the earth, side by side. This is Double Negative, a sculpture that reshapes the landscape itself. The absence of material becomes the art, a void that speaks volumes in silence. The raw edges of the Nevada desert frame the negative space, casting ever-changing shadows. The play of light and dark on the rough, natural surfaces creates a stark contrast. The scale is immense, dwarfing any human presence, yet the simplicity of the concept is striking. This poster brings the grandeur of land art into intimate spaces. It demands room to breathe, best suited to a minimalist setting where its bold absence can be fully appreciated. Show more
