New growth emerges in warm red-orange tones, then matures to a bold yellow that keeps garden beds looking crisp and energized. In late spring into early summer, dense clusters of pink-purple flowers add another layer of color and invite pollinators into the garden. Its naturally compact, mounded form makes it easy to repeat along walkways, tuck into small spaces, or use as a clean, colorful edge in mixed plantings. Care Double Play® Candy Corn® Spirea Care Plant in full sun for the brightest foliage color and strongest flowering. In warmer climates, light afternoon shade is acceptable, but more sun generally means better color. Spirea prefers well-drained soil and benefits from consistent moisture during establishment. Once established, water during extended dry spells to support healthy growth and flowering. If fertilization is needed, apply a balanced slow release fertilizer in early spring. Prune in late winter or early spring to shape the plant, remove any winter damage, and encourage a fresh flush of colorful new growth. Container Growing: This compact shrub adapts well to large patio containers with good drainage. Container-grown plants require more frequent watering than in-ground plantings. Plants hardy in the ground may require winter protection when grown in containers in colder zones. Size What Size is the Double Play® Candy Corn® Spirea for Sale Online?
