This lot comes from the Veracruz region of Mexico, specifically from various smallholder producers throughout Huatusco. Situated within the coastal Veracruz region, Huatusco is a t own that was founded by Italian immigrants and is characterized by its rainfall and warm climates, ideal for coffee production. The coffee was sourced thanks to the work of La Laja, an exporting group that began as a coffee farm back in the 1920s with the Sampieri family.
