In this session, Doug focuses on the painful experience of being unable to perceive the Lord's presence and then connects to childhood memories that match his triggered negative thoughts and emotions. We identify and resolve blockages associated with those memories, and Doug is then able to perceive the Lord's presence. (Session length: 112 minutes). Immanuel approach Intermediate principles and process Low to moderate intensity In this session, Doug focuses on painful thoughts and emotions that got stirred up when he was unable to perceive the Lord's presence in an earlier "Immanuel Intervention" exercise. When Doug connected to childhood memories that matched the negative thoughts and feelings that had gotten stirred up, we were able to identify and resolve blockages associated with those memories, and Doug was then able to perceive the Lord's presence. The follow-up interviews at one month and 10 months indicate lasting fruit in Doug's relationship with Jesus.
