Handmade by local artist, Pia Moriarty, these Douglas Iris tiles measure approximately 4"x4" and have a notch in the back suitable for hanging. A 1st place winner at the 2025 LA Co unty Fair 'Art Unleashed' competition, in the category of Home Arts. Pia Moriarty loves Arts & Crafts' emphasis on natural forms and handwork. Her new explorations with tiles come out of pottery training in Japanese/Oribe aesthetics and Pueblo methods of carving and burnishing clay. A cultural anthropologist and adult literacy teacher, she is now retired at Pilgrim Place in Claremont. Proceeds from her tile sales support the co-op pottery studio there. Show more
