This is a Portuguese red comprised of the 3 about an equal amount of national red varietals. Dark in the glass. The nose is blackberry and blueberry. Taste is earthy and chewy. Nos e of plum, cherries, strawberry, licorice, warm alcohol, white pepper. It is spicy! Deep purple color and nicely dense. Balance is impeccable with a perfect addition of silky structured tannins.
