For generations, homemakers bought rug hooking patterns from pedlars who came to their door. In the early 1900s, they could order them from catalogs and make something beautiful fo r their homes. Anyone can hook when working with a pattern. When you have a pattern, all you have to do is outline each element and fill it in, playing with colour as you go. When designing a new pattern, I'm inspired by life around me and the things I see in the landscape. I make these patterns so you can get right into hooking rugs without having to worry about creating designs. They're meant to inspire you.
