O ptics at either end allow you to peer into the compass for horizontal measurements, or the clinometer for vertical measurements. The liquid filled compass capsule features a 0-360 degree compass card with 0.5 degree increments and 0.5 degree accuracy. Along the 0-360 azimuth scale is a reverse scale displaying the opposite direction. The clinometer card features both a degree and percent scale.
