Doraku-gama makes Donabe hotpot and related pieces from Iga. They are also called igamono, which literally means made in Iga. Doraku’s pottery has been passing down since Edo perio d, and now it is eighth generation. They make donabe using traditional handmade way, starting off with mixing clay from Iga, and shape them using potter’s wheel, and so on. They take pride in their work and you can see the art of their creation.
