Curtis Superior Valves, such as the CCA1800 model, can easily be installed in standard NPT or AND-10050 style ports. When installing, use a sealant for NPT threaded valves or a fuel-resistant o-ring for UNF threaded valves. Refer to the aircraft manufacturer's torque specifications for proper installation. As for maintenance, these valves only require regular cleaning and eventual replacement according to the prescribed schedule or a usable life of 10 years, whichever comes first. Note that Curtis Superior Valves cannot be overhauled and must be replaced when leaking occurs. Follow the maintenance schedule for the replacement of your aircraft.
