Made with a gorgeous figured Walnut top and a Purpleheart back, Andrew Drake's expert craftsmanship shines in this instrument. This Model 6 is handmade in Nevada, Iowa and features a Macassar Ebony fretboard over a quarter-sawn Maple neck, and a laminate Maple center. Fit and finish is excellent here. This Drake is loaded with two EMG pickups (an MMTW in the bridge and an SJ in the neck) it has 2-band EQ and a push/pull feature to move the bridge pickup from a more humbucking richness to a clearer Jazz-like tone. Hipshot hardware, a slim and smooth-playing neck, and weighs in at 9.4 lbs. This Drake Custom Model 6 Bass comes with a soft case.
