Originally featured as part of Beadwork magazine’s 2014 Designer of the Year projects, this necklace combines peyote-stitched components with bezeled crystal fancy stones, then connects them into an architectural pendant that slides onto herringbone-stitched ropes. The geometric construction gives Lavender Mist its drama, while the soft color palette keeps it feminine and wonderfully wearable. The sliding neck strap is an especially clever part of the design, allowing the pendant to move along the ropes and creating a statement necklace that feels both unusual and beautifully balanced.
