General Information: These 3D Files were constructed from our popular Dreadnought SS Guitar Plan files and 2D CNC files that we have in the plan section of our site. You will find that these files will provide a top level of convenience to customers who possess a CNC router, or access to CNC routing services. We offer our Dreadnought plans either as a complete set or individual pieces (6) pieces total. if you don’t need the entire guitar. For instance if you only want the Neck, you can purchase the files to mill the neck. Unsure if these files will work on your CNC system? Note that all hardware including tuners, frets, purfling, bindings, screws, truss rod, tail block, sides and side braces are not a part of these files and are shown for illustration purposes. Special Note: The SS model differs from the standard dreadnought with forward shifted bracing and scalloped top braces. All these 3D CNC files are formatted in STL (Stereolithography). Most 3D CNC controller software should handle this popular formatting. The available files are detailed below: Dreadnought SS Top with X-Braces: The top plate is contoured to the proper shape with soundhole. Complete top brace set is provided complete with scalloping and rounding contours. Brace pattern is for the forward shifted x-brace pattern with (2) scalloped tone braces. Also included are the bridge plate and fretboard side pieces. Note: Top does not include any geometry for bindings, purfling or soundhole trim. Dreadnought SS Top with V-Braces: 1. The top plate is contoured to the proper shape with soundhole. Brace pattern is for the new V-Brace design. Also included are the bridge plate and fretboard side pieces. Note: Top does not include any geometry for bindings, purfling or soundhole trim. Dreadnought SS Neck Set: This file will give you a smooth 3D file of the neck contour, heel contour, mortise and tenon joint attachment to the headblock, complete peg head contour, tuner holes, bushing recesses, truss rod channel and access in the head block. Also included is the headpiece trim and the head and tail blocks. Dreadnought SS Fretboard: This file will contain the proper fretboard outline perimeter, fretboard radius (16") fretboard recesses for the MOP Inlays and fret slots for the proper scale. (.023"; .58mm wide). Fret tops and tangs are included only for clarity as separate layers. Dreadnought SS Pickguard This file contains the Pickguard outline and bevel. Dreadnought SS Belly Bridge This file contains the Classic Dreadnought Belly Bridge, complete with side ramps, saddle channel and saddle, bridge pin hole and recesses. Dreadnought SS Complete: For a reduced price you will receive all the above files except the set includes the x-brace set, not the v-brace set.
