Your sponge cake is covered in a creamy white chocolate ganache and ivory sugarpaste. Fruit cake has a delicious layer of marzipan under the icing. Preparation and storage The cake is supplied assembled and ready to eat on an iced cake board, edged with ribbon as pictured. Pre-wedding storage Store in a cool dry place out of direct heat and sunlight. Prior to being displayed at your wedding, we do not recommend storing your cake in a refrigerator due to the effect condensation will have on the sugarpaste covering your cake. Post-wedding storage If you wish to keep cake for eating after your wedding day it can be stored in a cool dry place. If this is not possible or if the weather is hot and/or humid, you should use refrigeration. Incorrect storage will affect the condition of your cake, therefore we cannot guarantee your cake beyond the day of your wedding. Your cake will be boxed and labelled and will be delivered on the day of your wedding to the address you specify during checkout. Your cake should be kept cool and dry (not refrigerated). There must be someone available at the delivery address, such as a member of the wedding team, to take delivery of your wedding cake.
