A perfect sweater for any occasion, the Dreamland cardi is a piece of wearable art that has an oversized, comfy fit to keep you warm and stylish. It is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, the back and front pieces are seamed, and sleeves are worked in the round. This is a simple cardigan for beginners as the stitches are basic to allow for the yarn to shine. Pattern details: Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter Needle Size: Size US 19 (15 mm) 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge Size US 19 (15 mm) double pointed needles or additional needles as desired for your preference of small circumference knitting Gauge: 5.75 sts and 9 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat, unblocked 5.5 sts and 9 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat, blocked Note: Gauge can vary slightly based on the type of Dreamland yarn used. The fit of this cardi is up to you and your own personal preference. If you want it to have less positive ease, then size down, and if you want an oversized fit, then size up.
