Kevin Collins is a Landscape artist, former handloom weaver, and night sky enthusiast. Based in the North of Ireland He says.... Based in Belfast, and born in Dublin, my artwork is influenced by my surroundings and my history. On my daily journeys I stumble on inspirations for my artwork. The dimming light of the day giving way to the spark of street lights which highlights different hues and shades. My mark-making is a direct nod to my previous experience as a handloom weaver and textile designer, using my muscle memory of weaving to create warp and weft brushmarks.
