A margin-focused pole elastic that stays taut and responsive, giving you steady tension on close-in bites. The Drennan Hybrid Margin Solid Pole Elastic (5m) is designed for margin rigs and light tackle use, and the 5m length lets you set up multiple rigs or trim to suit the margin you’re fishing. Length: 5m Designation: Hybrid Margin Solid Pole Elastic Designed for: margin rigs Performance: steady tension and a responsive feel for close-in bites Material/Blend: hybrid blend balances stretch and recovery Versatility: 5m length lets you set up multiple rigs or trim to suit the margin you’re fishing When you’re fishing the margin, a quick, decisive bite can come in tight and without warning. This elastic is built to hold steady tension so your rigs stay in line and your line stays ready to react. The responsive feel means you can pick up on subtle takes and react with precision, rather than waiting for a tell-tale tug that never arrives. The hybrid blend balances stretch and recovery, so there’s just enough give to absorb a small lurch without letting the hook miss its moment. That balance is especially handy on light tackle, where over-stretch can pull a hook free or dull the strike. By recovering quickly after each take, the elastic helps keep your gear in good shape and your fishing day on track, even after several casts and lines. The margin-specific design is a practical choice for close-in work, giving you predictable performance where it matters most: right up against the bank, near reeds, or along a tight margin edge. The 5m length is a clear advantage in the field—you can set up more than one rig at a time, then trim pieces to match the exact depth or overhang you’re working with. That flexibility saves time and hassle, letting you move between margins or adjust on the fly as conditions change. With this elastic on hand, you’re equipped to respond quickly to bites, keep tension steady through the strike, and protect delicate tackle from unnecessary stress. It pairs well with margin rigs that demand a balanced, reliable feel, giving you confidence to cast, wait, and lift with purpose. In short, it’s a smart, targeted choice for anglers who regularly fish margins and want a dependable elastic that delivers consistent results over multiple sessions.
