Creating your own handmade wardrobe can be be addictive! This four week SPECIAL OFFER one to one course is designed for beginners or improvers who are passionate about learning or improving on the skills & techniques needed to produce their own quality handmade clothing. You will have full use of the studio: cutting tables, sewing & overlocker machines & expert one to one tuition, this course can be attended with a friend please see drop down menu for options Topics include: How to obtain right size & correct fit Use & prepare commercial patterns Cutting out & prepare fabric & pattern pieces Garment making & techniques You need to be able to use a sewing machine, if you are a complete novice to sewing, it would be beneficial to attend the LEARN TO SEW workshop before this course. What to bring: Bring along your choice of sewing pattern & fabric with any extra supplies e.g. zips, buttons etc you may need.
