Originally featured on Yuki Kato's 1984 album "Love Potion", "Shyに愛して" is a fantastic Japanese Disco / Boogie cut heavily inspired by Indeep's dancefloor classic "Last Night a D.J. Saved My Life" perhaps a little too close to be called just an homage. With its infectious bassline, funky rhythms and breezy Japanese vocals, the track captures the irresistible groove of early 80s Disco with a distinctive Japanese Pop charm.First released on 7-inch vinyl in 2019, backed with the Keiichi Suzuki-arranged New Wave Pop gem "謎はと・か・な・い・で".
