The farm is a natural extension of the Pasto brothers' passions: Anthony, a beekeeper and founder of Happy Bees Apiary, and Michael, a career chef with experience in Niagara and abroad. Their venture into gourmet mushroom cultivation began in 2020, blending their love for local food and small-scale farming with a nod to their Italian heritage, reflected in the name "Funky Funghi."
