Plains Coreopsis, also known as Dyers Coreopsis [ Coreopsis Tinctoria ] is a potent dye plant known for its light and wash fastness, and the wide range of saturated colors it produ ces. Colors range from bright orange, rusty orange, coral, to brown with the use of varying mordants, shifting pH, and the saturation of the dye bath based on WOF. All flowers are grown organically in my dye garden, hand picked and air dried. Flowers are sold in 25g quantities, which will create a saturated dye bath for a 100 gram skein with color leftover in an exhaust bath to dye more. Show more
