This blend was created for the pregnant mama. Our tea is formulated with highly nutritious herbs that help nourish and prepare the body for child birth. This tea is not for use until after the first trimester. If you don't like the taste of tea, try adding juice! Nettles- Highly nutritious. Nettle is rich in iron, calcium, magnesium, protein, and vitamin K & A. It helps to enrich milk supply while also being an excellent tonic for women. Red Raspberry Leaf- Uterine tonic. It contains an alkaloid called Fragrine, which tones the uterus and pelvic region. The leaves are rich in manganese, an essential element for oxygenation of the cells. It’s used to strengthen the uterine muscles for childbirth and used to treat morning sickness. Alfalfa- Rich in vitamins, minerals, and trace minerals. It is also a galactagogue. Lemon Balm- A calming nervine. It has been documented to have hormone regulating effects. Peppermint- Peppermint is anti-inflammatory, nervine, & antiemetic.
