Drink like a Viking with this tall drinking horn carved from a real cow horn. The horn is polished smooth with beeswax and finished with a sold oak base, ready for use at home. Dri nking vessels carved from animal horns are attested throughout history but have come to be associated with the Viking Age. In the Prose Edda, the god Thor drinks from a horn so long that its far end is submerged in the sea, taking such a mighty gulp that he drains part of the sea and creates a new beach where previously had been water. Since this is a natural product each individual mug may differ in size, shape, colour, and appearance.
