The DriverMap™ Targeted RNA Sequencing Expression Profiling (EXP) Assay is a convenient single-tube RT-PCR/Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) assay that robustly measures expression levels of ~19,000 human protein-coding genes from ng levels of total RNA in blood, cells, tissues, and even FFPE samples. We have designed primers 80-200 nt in length to target the conserved regions of all human protein-coding genes and optimized them for reliable results in an efficient, robust multiplex assay. If you want a quick snapshot of up-regulated and down-regulated genes, even from small or rare samples, and do not require information on alternative splice variants, this assay is worth considering. Open-source Salmon software is used to quantify gene expression levels. Further downstream analysis may be carried out using a variety of differential gene expression software tools.
