Parasite protection is an important part of owning a pet. Drontal® is recommended for the treatment and control of all gastrointestinal worms in dogs, including roundworm, hookworm , whipworm, and tapeworm (including hydatid tapeworm), and controls the shedding of Giardia cysts. Does not control heartworm. Dosage: each tablet treats 3kg of body weight - suitable for small dogs and puppies. Active constituents (per tablet): 15mg Praziquantel, 14.9mg Febantel, 75mg Pyrantel Embonate. Directions: Dose every 3 months, or at the start of every season, to control roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms. In hydatid tapeworm areas, treat every 6 weeks. If whipworm is a problem, treat every 6-8 weeks. Giardia should be confirmed by a vet before treatment and dosed for 3 consecutive days at the correct weight-based dose. Show more
