Hello Wild Stitch Friends, Exciting news! We now offer one-hour one-to-one Sew Anything sessions every Friday in our classroom. This exclusive opportunity allows you to receive personalised guidance, whether you're learning to sew, tackling a challenging project, or mastering new techniques like foundation piecing, slow stitching, English paper piecing, needleturn applique, curved piecing, dressmaking, or soft-toy making. Sessions are available for kids (8 and up) or adults. Cost: $80 for a one-hour session, including a tailored lesson plan and teaching tools. Available Time Slots: Friday: 10:00am - 11:00am, 11:30am - 12:30pm, 1:00pm - 2:00pm Please note: During school holidays, sessions are available from 10:00am - 11:00am or 11:30am - 12:30pm only. Here are the projects we have available kits for (these are not limited - you can sew anything!) Nine-patch quilted cushion (for beginners). This project will give you the fundamentals: skills in basic sewing machine knowledge, piecing, pinning, ironing, quilting and pivot turns. Kit cost: $40.00 (includes pattern, charm squares and backing of your choice, plus thread and pellon). Finished size 45cm square. ONE-TWO LESSON PROJECT A fully lined tote bag in two contrasting fabrics, perfect as a library or shopping bag. A super simple project but always with stylish results! The bag measures up as 28 x 32 cm tote and makes a great gift. Kit cost: $40.00 (includes pattern; main, lining and handle fabric of your choice). ONE-TWO LESSON PROJECT Accessibility: While we strive for an accessible sewing environment, our current location has a classroom situated up a flight of stairs. Regrettably, the small bathroom is downstairs and not wheelchair accessible. For inquiries regarding classroom accessibility, please contact us. Mobile Classroom: We operate a mobile classroom, making stops at venues with wheelchair accessibility. Keep an eye out for these classes if our North Hobart store is inaccessible for you. No Show Policy: At Wild Stitch Studio, our classes have limited spots, so cancellations impact others. If you can't attend, kindly provide: ONE WEEK'S NOTICE for cancellations. Last-minute cancellations will be treated as No Shows, and fees will be forfeited.
