Dropcloth Samplers are designed by US based textile artist Rebecca Ringquist. A dropcloth is something that is not too precious; you can get messy and experiment without worrying a bout making mistakes. The Sunshine sampler is bright and happy, with a yellow background and flowers, circles and lines for you to embroider. Use running, back or chain stitch for the lines and go to town on the flowers with lazy daisy, knots and textural stitches. Measures approx 20 cm x 20 cm. Instructions aren’t included but can be found in most embroidery books, in Rebecca’s online classes, or why not get a friend to show you?
