Known as The Melter, this lone Bioficer vessel earned its name by ambushing larger foes that underestimated its small frame. Its unusual configuration led the Admiralty to nickname its aggressive, unsubtle intelligence "Anode," whose technology exceeded that of its peers. Refitted to heavy-destroyer mass with an enhanced power matrix, the ship exists solely to wield a single prow weapon, the Themator Cage — a short-range system capable of battleship-level damage. The UCMS Gaugamela managed to destroy one such ship over Olympus in early 2679, but identical sightings soon followed, forcing the Admiralty to conclude that Anode had escaped its vessel and now likely commands multiple copies of this rare and dangerous design.
