The pretty Drops placemat by Coro Cora is hand-woven from Iraca palm in Colombia. Artisans from Usiacurí, a colorful town on the Caribbean coast (where some of the houses have mura ls painted on their roofs!), use a traditional techniques to make the placemats. This method has been passed down through generations and begins by shaping a wire frame over which intricate patterns are woven with colored palm fibers.
