Drosera adelae, also called the lance leaf sundew, is an Australian species that produces glistening spade-shaped leaves and beautiful red star-like flowers. In filtered sun they will produce wide, green leaves, and in brighter sun they will produce compact, red leaves. This is one of the best indoor/windowsill sundews because it can thrive under lower light conditions than most commonly grown South African species. It also tends to return vigorously from its roots if the main plant is damaged or dies. Drosera adelae is also a member of the "3 sisters" of Queensland. The other closely-related sister plants are Drosera prolifera and Drosera schizandra. This Drosera adelae sundew plant will be shipped in a moss plug with a 3.5" plastic pot and enough top-quality New Zealand long-fiber sphagnum moss to fill it. Planting and growing instructions will also be included.
