A cloud forest orchid native to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. This is a cool growing species that produces short stems, with flowers that open just sli ghtly above the base of the pots. Usually they flower profusely, especially when reaching 30+ leaves.
