Founded in 2022, Vancouver-based contemporary eyewear brand, drypond believes in the importance of craftsmanship, artisanal products and voice of culture. The name ‘drypond’ origin ates from the phrase ‘Han Tang’, a nickname given to the distinct neighbourhoods adjacent to the location of the eyewear factory. These handcrafted sunglasses are made from Italian acetate. The acetate is placed in a specialized oven prior to production to ensure the acetate is fully shrunk and results in a better polished effect.
