The DTI mount gives those users who want an easy way to use a test indicator on their machine an easy option. NOTE: This mount is ONLY for the Shapeoko 5 Pro, it will not fit other Shapeoko machines. The DTI mount is made from steel so that you can use magnetic mounts to hold your test indicator. It also has an m8 threaded hole for mounting the indicator arm. The real question is, why would you want to use a test indicator on your Shapeoko 5 Pro? Well, if you're doing any kind of precision work, you might need a good way to align a vise or a part to the machine axis. The test indicator is a great way to do that.
