My first painting of a C6 Corvette was of the convertible I wanted to own in 2005. On the sharper-edged model I loved Machine Silver, my favorite color of the new Z06’s at the time . In “Dual Duesies” I parked this car beside a real Colorado Springs wall advertising an early dealership for Auburn Cord and Duesenberg, complete with the prices for six- and eight-cylinder models.
