This piece is about dualism and how, to truly enjoy moments where you feel happiness, bliss and absence of anxiety, you need to experience sadness, despair and anxiousness. To best represent this duality in human emotions, I chose to embellish a skull with florals, where death meets life again. And more precisely, I chose to work with wildflowers. Just as the expanding universe gave birth to planets and stars that eventually collapse or fade, wildflowers exist on a strict duality of life and death, blooming in the spring and nourishing the soil in autumn. A perfect dualism of life and decay.
