The prison was used to house Irish rebels during the 18th and 19th centuries. Kilmainham Gaol is now a museum and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dublin. 5. The National Museum of IrelandThe National Museum of Ireland is located in Dublin and is dedicated to Irish history and culture. The museum has four branches, three of which are located in Dublin.
