Duckweed is an easy and fast growing aquatic plant that floats on the water surface. They are ideal as a plant that quickly removes nitrates from the aquarium. A need to take note that the plant can quickly spread for form a dense mat on the water's surface especially in slow-moving and stagnant water bodies. They also offer themselves as a food source to many birds as well as herbivorous fish species such as goldfish and cichlids. A 7 x 10 cm sized amount will be sent.
