DUKKAH is a traditional Egyptian spice mix. It is often blended with roasted nuts and sprinkled on flat bread with olive oil. We make ours NUT FREE so that you may add your own nuts depending on your taste. Without nuts, dukkah makes a lovely addition to a simple oil and vinegar salad dressing. It is also delicious on fish, and you can put it in dipping olive oil as a snack. If you want to add roasted nuts (hazelnuts, almonds, pistachios or even peanuts), blend 1 part crushed nuts to 1 part spice.
