Dulce Vida Pineapple Jalapeno Tequila 750ML is a 100% blue agave tequila infused with natural pineapple and jalapeño flavors, bottled at 35% ABV (70 proof). Produced in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, this expression balances tropical sweetness against genuine chile heat — a combination rooted in real fruit infusion rather than artificial flavoring, which gives it a cleaner, more authentic character than many flavored tequilas on the market.Quick Facts: ABV: 35% (70 proof) | Origin: Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico | Flavored Blanco | 100% Blue Agave | 750mlProduction & HeritageDulce Vida sources its agave from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, a sub-region prized for producing sweeter, more fruit-forward agave plants due to its red iron-rich soil and higher elevation. The brand earned early recognition with its core lineup, including a "Best of the Best" award at the 2011 TEQUILA.net Awards for Best Highland Blanco and Best Organic Tequila. For the Pineapple Jalapeño expression, the base blanco tequila is infused with natural pineapple and jalapeño, yielding a spirit that leans into real-ingredient flavor rather than synthetic additives — a detail that also positions it as a lower-calorie, lower-carb option within the flavored tequila category.Tasting NotesAroma: Ripe tropical pineapple leads immediately, followed by a green, vegetal jalapeño note and a faint undercurrent of cooked agave. The nose is bright and inviting without any artificial candy-like quality.Taste: The entry is decidedly sweet, with juicy pineapple dominating the front palate. At mid-palate, the jalapeño emerges as a building warmth that intensifies gradually rather than hitting all at once. A subtle agave sweetness threads through the spice, keeping everything cohesive and preventing the heat from overwhelming the fruit.Finish: Medium in length, with lingering pineapple that slowly cedes to a peppery jalapeño tingle on the back of the tongue. The finish is clean, leaving a pleasant warmth without any harsh burn. How to Drink Dulce Vida Pineapple JalapeñoAt 70 proof, this tequila is approachable enough to sip chilled or over ice, where the sweet-to-spicy progression unfolds naturally. It truly shines, however, as a cocktail ingredient that brings built-in complexity. Spicy Margarita: The pineapple and jalapeño are already integrated, eliminating the need to muddle fresh chiles and creating a more consistent drink every time. Paloma: Substituting this for a standard blanco adds a tropical-spicy dimension that plays well against grapefruit soda's bitterness. Tequila Mule: The pineapple sweetness rounds out ginger beer's sharpness, while the jalapeño heat complements ginger's natural spice.
