Dumplings is part of the Chroma Collection for the Affordable Art Fair 2021. In this collection the cityscape is refined into bold, bright icons. Drawing its name from the Greek wo rd for colour, Chroma, the artist abstracts picture postcard Hong Kong into a vibrant burst of Pop Art images. Echoes of my early collections of photomontage and distressed collage abound. Now blurred edges are refined into geometric line; cross-hatched slivers of the city find their edges in a shared plain of zany acrylic.
