The Dune Runner was developed as a compact, lightly-armed reconnaissance vehicle, and it originally featured some built in cargo capacity for increased versatility. However, the ve hicle has been adapted for use in several other applications through either removing weapons for more cargo space or repurposing the cargo space to mount a respectable weapons package for the vehicle's size and speed.
