It may also be used for emergency contraception if levonorgestrel 0.75 mg tablets are not available in the market. Uses: Emergency contraception This medicine is used for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies. The oral tablet should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex; it should be taken at least within 72 to 120 hours after unprotected sex. This medicine may be used only if levonorgestrel 0.75 mg is not available in the market. Contraception This medicine is used for the prevention of unwanted pregnancies.
