This is one of the few air plant species that produces fragrant blooms. Many people say that Duratii flowers smell like freshly picked grapes. Duratii are also one of the most inte resting looking air plants. They grow upwards, on a stem, but as the plant grows, the expended leaves fall downward into a draping pattern. This is a plant you will want to hang from wire to get the full effect of this interesting look. Duratii can get quite large. They have been found naturally in excess of 2 feet long.
