The DuraVent DT-L-WT DuraTech Wall Thimble provides a premium product for use with the DuraTech chimney system. This wall thimble provides clearance to combustibles and adjusts from a minimum of 4 inches to a maximum of 10 inches of wall thickness. This item installs between two standard wall studs. To accommodate thicker walls, the telescoping pieces can be extended up to 16 inches with a field-fabricated extension installed. This component must be installed with DuraTech chimney pipe horizontally through the wall and extend 6 inches into the room beyond the interior wall. DuraTech is a double-wall chimney system for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood. DuraTech is designed for normal, continuous operation at 1,700 degree flue gas temps. NOTE: Venting components should be installed by a licensed installer in accordance with local codes and within the manufacturer's specified guidelines as noted in your appliance's installation manual.
