The inspiration for this ring came from a coin ring we found in a vintage shop in Amsterdam. It was comically large, constructed of cheap, bendable metal, and not at all wearable, but something about it was rather fantastic. So we decided to design a refined, powerful version of it with a thickened perimeter and a simplified face. The result is a fantasy statement ring with everything you loved in costume jewelry as a child — the exaggerated proportions, the shine, the show — but made with dignity for a grown up. No hollow undersides or sharp edges. Just pure, warm, solid gold.
