Originally these pouches were issued to the Dutch Army to contain a compass and first aid equipment, although the possibilities for storage don't stop there. You could also store f ire starters, small torches, and other survival tools. The polyamide (nylon) construction is coated with polyurethane for abrasion resistance and added durability. A hook & loop strip secures the lid down and keeps the contents in place. ALICE clips on the back allow you to attach the pouch to a web belt or other equipment.
