'Control Beater' Designed in conjunction with our MDD Direct Drive Pedal, the Control beater includes interchangeable weights and 3 striking surfaces; Hard flat felt (for maximum s urface contact), Spherical felt (rounded felt for small surface contact), Flat plastic. The removable brass weights* give the user five increments of forward throw, and the self-leveling head ensures the beater always strikes flat against the head. Speed and power combined.
