Dwarf Escallonia, Escallonia 'Compacta', is a compact, tidy looking shrub with glossy green leaves. Pink to red flower clusters embellish the attractive foliage in spring and fall. It can be grown in full sun to partial shade, but tends to flower more with sun. Because it has a very deep root system, Dwarf Escallonia 'Compacta' can be grown in sloping beds and borders.
