Dwarf Hackberry (Celtis tenuifolia) is a rare native gem, as-of-yet largely untapped as a species for bonsai. With a smaller size bordering on natural bonsai and smaller, delicate leaves relative to C. occidentalis, the Dwarf Hackberry is perfect for bonsai. Its growth habit is one that creates natural movement, creating twists and bends as branches extend. We may only have this one crop of C. tenuifolia, so get them while they last! Note that this species is deciduous and will not have leaves if shipped during the winter. The trees pictured are representative examples and will not be the exact trees you receive. Some will have wire for movement or branch placement.
