When paired with the Pro Wheel Shaver XT Tool hub, the adjustable blade shaves the tread face as the wheel spins, delivering wheels that are perfectly round to the axle center and true to the bore within thousandths of an inch. This level of precision helps shave time off derby runs by producing the smoothest, most consistently round wheels. Designed for hard plastic derby wheels, the Pro Wheel Shaver XT Tool hub holds and rotates the wheel during shaving. The blade depth is screw‑adjustable for precise, repeatable control, and there is an upgrade kit available to convert older shavers to the XT version. Soft plastic wheels are not recommended for use with this shaver.
